“On the art of cinematography at WFS” is an original course led by dr hab. Katarzyna Taras, featuring guest appearances - both online and in person - by some of the most acclaimed cinematographers: Andrzej Bartkowiak, Ryszard Lenczewski, and Adam Holender. The guest of the first class was the outstanding cinematographer and director, two-time Academy Award winner, Janusz Kamiński. The goal of the course is to introduce students to the unique sensibilities, artistic paths, and achievements of Polish cinematographers.
The guest of the second lecture will be Andrzej Bartkowiak, cinematographer and director, recipient of the ASC Lifetime Achievement Award. He has worked with Shirley MacLaine, Jack Nicholson, and Keanu Reeves, helping create some of the most memorable images in cinema.
